About Charleston Bat Removers

A local bat removal specialist built on honest assessments, humane methods, and written warranties.

Our story

Charleston Bat Removers has been providing humane bat removal and exclusion services across Charleston and the Lowcountry for over 10 years. We started as a small wildlife-control crew and grew through repeat customers and word-of-mouth — the kind of growth that only happens when you tell people the truth about their bat problems and do what you said you'd do.

The Lowcountry's warm climate, marsh habitats, and abundance of insects make it prime bat territory, and we've built our reputation on being the bat removal service that shows up, finds the real entry points, and excludes bats the right way — legally, humanely, and permanently. We're not the cheapest bid on every job, and we won't pretend to be. We're the bid that itemizes what you're paying for and stands behind it with a written warranty.

What sets us apart

We're bat specialists, not generalists. Bats are all we do, and that focus shows up in every part of the job. We know South Carolina's bat laws — including the maternity season restrictions that govern when exclusion can and can't be performed. We know Charleston's housing stock, from pre-1900s homes in the Historic District to new construction in Mount Pleasant, and we know where bats get in for each style. We use proofing materials chosen for the Lowcountry climate — copper mesh that won't corrode in the humidity, marine-grade sealants, vent screens built for coastal conditions.

Every inspection includes photo documentation. Every quote is itemized — you see exactly what each phase costs. Every exclusion and proofing job comes with a written warranty. No pressure, no sales tactics, no vague estimates. Just honest work and a phone number you can call if something goes wrong.
